Job Description

You have: 

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in human resources, including at least 3 years specializing in HR information systems administration
  • Experience in HR system implementation, configuration, and ongoing support
  • Proficiency in HRIS and reporting tools, with strong data analysis
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot system issues and optimize user experience
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements related to HR systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across HR, IT, and business teams
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and flexible with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Willingness to travel to head office, field offices, and corporate events across Ontario as needed


Nice to have:

  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation or working towards one
  • Experience working in a unionized environment


What you will do:

  • Lead the analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of HR systems solutions aligned with business needs and strategic goals
  • Advise HR teams in troubleshooting system-related issues, ensuring efficient and timely functionality for end-users
  • Develop and maintain HR support tools (e.g., user guides, FAQs, knowledge base content) to strengthen self-service capabilities
  • Provide training and guidance to HR team members and end users on system functionality, upgrades, and reporting capabilities
  • Execute system maintenance and data audits to ensure integrity, compliance, and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to implement system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and monitor service-level delivery
  • Develop and administer HR reporting and analytics to support workforce planning and HR decision-making
  • Monitor HR technology trends and recommend tools, automations, or improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience
  • Partner with Finance, Payroll, and Total Rewards teams for data transactions and reporting accuracy
  • Support data governance, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, employment legislation, and privacy regulations
