You have:
- Completed post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business, Statistics, Psychology or related field
- A minimum of 2 years experience in workforce planning or people analytics
- Experience with Data Analytics software including Tableau and Power BI
- Advanced knowledge of Data Analytics tools and Microsoft Office suite of applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint to analyze, manipulate and present/illustrate information/data
- Previous experience in determining and producing people analytics / HR Dashboards
- Strong analytical, planning and organization skills and ability to multi-task on concurrent projects with competing priorities
- Ability to think creatively and bring forward alternative approaches and solutions
Nice to have:
- Completion of, or working towards, Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation
- Knowledge of SAP or other HR systems, including loading, extracting, writing queries, reports and manipulating HR data
What you will do:
- Define & advance standard methodologies and champion the use of HR data & analytics organization-wide
- Design and generate reports and people analytics to provide predictive workforce metrics and other trending/forecasting reports and to support business intelligence analysis and recruitment and succession planning strategies
- Implement new and existing HR analytics dashboards to support workforce analysis, year-end performance, compensation planning and talent reviews
- Synthesize large amounts of data from a variety of sources including SAP and other Excel-based logs
- Extract, cleanse, organize and manage relevant HR information from various sources and be able to identify missing information and develop ways to obtain it
- Produce quarterly reports for management; produce metrics for inclusion in the year-end reports to the Executive team; analyze changes in metrics, identifying trends, opportunities and projecting impact on current programs
- Gather requirements from stakeholders to understand data requirements for HR reports and metrics
- Collaborate cross functionally on the workforce planning and budgeting process
- Provide subject matter expertise and advice including supporting the tracking, analysis and improvement of metrics and other key performance indicators
- Prepare detailed and summary level reports to assist leaders in their headcount planning
