You are able to provide advanced cloud technology technical support by monitoring service availability and troubleshoot issues, deploy and configure applications, code pipelines and create automated solutions that can be used as a framework for future builds.

You have: 

  • Diploma or Degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of IT work experience
  • Professional Cloud certification
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in the implementation, operation and maintenance of cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of operating systems, networking, applications, platforms, and databases
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with scripting and CI/CD pipelines
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in terraform, CloudFormation and cloud security
  • The ability to manage competing priorities through strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills to build effective working relationships with colleagues and vendors
  • Perform duties off hours and on-call basis as required

 

Nice to have:

  • Professional level Certification in AWS or higher
  • Experience in CodePipeline, databases, cloud architecture, and Kubernetes

 

What you will do: 

  • Work with the team to identify, enable and deliver a scalable, reliable and cost-effective cloud integration solutions
  • Ensure all projects/platform teams are building solutions according to approved cloud architecture blueprints
  • Remain current with technical certifications in order to adopt and implement best practices as technology advances
  • Automate CI/CD deployment pipeline, monitoring, configurations management and incident response
  • Design, implement and deploy serverless and container managed workloads through a CI/CD pipeline using cloud native tools and technologies
  • Aid in building and maintaining resilient, secure, and efficient cloud-based workloads throughout the software development life cycle
  • Ensure regular patch management process is maintained that incorporates feedback
  • Collaborate with other IT teams (e.g. Security, Development and QA) to maintain and execute cloud strategy
  • Provide technical expertise through sharing and implementation of DevSecOps best practices
  • Monitor stability, performance and troubleshoot issues within the cloud ecosystem
  • Scale infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demands during business critical cycles
  • Assist with the design of cloud operations dashboards, metrics and analytics
  • Ensure service level agreements are met, escalating issues as required
  • Provide technical support to agile development teams
