You have:
- A university degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a related discipline—or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience with expertise in talent acquisition, learning and development, succession planning, performance, and employee engagement
- At least 5 years of experience in leadership or management roles
- Strong people management and organizational skills, with a track record of leading high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- A collaborative and strategic mindset, with the ability to influence at all levels
- A deep understanding of EDIA principles and a drive to integrate them into people programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, HRIS, and Learning Management Systems
- Willingness to travel to head office, field offices and corporate events across Ontario as needed
Nice to have:
- Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) and/or CHRP/CHRL designation
- Certificate in Adult Learning or Instructional Design
What you will do:
As Director of the Integrated Talent Management Centre of Expertise, you will:
- Lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of talent acquisition, talent management, and learning & development across the organization
- Align all programs to support MPAC’s strategic goals, employee development, and business transformation
- Oversee performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement frameworks
- Partner with senior leadership and HR peers to forecast workforce needs and build internal capability
- Champion inclusive talent practices and integrate EDIA principles into all programs
- Drive innovation in HR service delivery through technology, process improvement, and data-driven insights
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth
- Build relationships with accrediting bodies and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards
- Manage operational budgets, contracts, and business cases related to talent services
