You have: 

  • Completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree or three-year college diploma/degree
  • At least 6 to 8 years of product management or a closely related field, with a focus on managing data and software products
  • Ability to communicate  with multiple client groups, understand their unique needs, and align everyone towards a common goal
  • Experience with Agile product development methodologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of property assessment policy and relevant legislation
  • Ability to generate reports, develop data visualizations and utilize database systems
  • Experience supporting software products, including monitoring emerging issues and collaborating on user acceptance testing and product updates
  • Strong planning, research and problem-solving skills to drive product development and management
  • Excellent facilitation and organizational skills to lead and/or coordinate multiple concurrent projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Superior communication and presentation skills to educate clients, interpret and explain technical information to a variety of audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite


What you will do: 

  • Lead the development and management of - municipal data and software products from ideation through development, launch, and ongoing  enhancement – by collaborating with  and leading cross-functional teams
  • Determine municipal client requirements by outlining research and engagement activities to effectively capture their needs and preferences
  • Conduct research, assess client feedback, and policy changes to inform product strategy and generate new product ideas and/or improvements
  • Manage complex product inquiries/recommendations from municipal clients and coordinate the resolution of product and software issues with Production/IT
  • Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on product goals and deliverables
  • Provides key messages, data insights and resources to support municipal use products
  • Monitor, measure and report on the level of customer service provided to municipal clients for MPAC products
  • Educate diverse audiences about product features, technical information, and updates through presentations and written communications
  • Lead a team of high-performing specialist, working collaboratively with internal peers, colleagues and executives
  • Oversee the Performance Management and annual compensation review processes to ensure organizational and individual objectives are achieved
