The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) is made up of a team of experts who understand local communities and assess every property in Ontario. What we do provides the very foundation that municipalities use to base the property taxes needed to pay for the services we use every day.

You have:
- Completion of post-secondary education
- A minimum of 5 years of product management and/or project management experience
- Proven ability to foster trusted relationships with clients, coordinating their needs and aligning towards a common goal
- Exceptional attention to detail to understand and document stakeholder requirements
- Advanced understanding of the product development life cycle and/or contract terms and conditions
- Strong planning, research and problem-solving skills to drive product, feature and software development and management
- Excellent facilitation and organizational skills to lead and/or coordinate multiple concurrent projects, features and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Superior communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, to educate stakeholders, interpret and explain technical information succinctly
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and JIRA / Linear
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Agile product development
- Understanding of MPAC data and property data
- Experience working with cross-functional IT and vendor teams on product delivery
- Experience managing e-commerce or API-based products, features and software services
- Municipal Tax/Revenue Management experience
What you will do:
- Provide strategic leadership in the development and management of Commercial and Client Solution data products and software features and solutions to meet stakeholder needs
- Lead product discovery by conducting research, gathering stakeholder requirements, and identifying opportunities for new or enhanced products
- Define product scope, specifications, enhancements and roadmaps, by leading cross-functional teams and managing timelines and resources
- Partner with IT and vendors to oversee product / software development, testing, and implementation, ensuring quality and alignment with business objectives
- Manage and optimize existing products / features / software by analyzing usage data, gathering stakeholder feedback, and driving continuous improvements
- Oversee delivery and performance of MPAC product / software services, ensuring service levels and customer expectations are met
- Support stakeholders through effective communication, training, and change management to drive adoption and value realization
- Lead and develop a high-performing team by aligning goals, supporting growth and development, and fostering a collaborative, customer-focused culture
- Manage financial aspects of product / feature / software development, including business cases, budgets, contracts, and procurement activities
- Participate in broader Customer and Client Solution and organizational initiatives as required
