In this newly created role within Commercial & Client Solutions, you will shape and grow the marketing portfolio from the ground up, establishing the strategies, frameworks, and processes that drive market awareness, client adoption, and business growth in public and private sector markets. You are a strategic marketing leader who thrives in building new functions and excels at transforming complex products, services, and technical solutions into compelling client-focused value propositions. You have:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 7 years of progressive experience in product or commercial marketing, digital marketing strategy, or related marketing roles, preferably within B2B, SaaS, data, technology-enabled services, or combined public/private sector environments
- Proven ability to develop and lead integrated multi-sector marketing strategies that drive commercial growth, client engagement, and market positioning in professional markets
- Experience supporting procurement processes, including RFPs, RFQs, proposals, and bid submissions
- Experience executing integrated marketing and digital marketing strategies
- Ability to develop product messaging, sales enablement tools, and commercialization materials for technical products
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, digital analytics tools, and content management systems
Nice to have:
- Diverse experience spanning municipal, government, private and public sectors
- Experience marketing data products, advisory services, or commercial software solutions
What you will do:
- Develop and execute integrated product marketing and digital strategies to drive commercial growth and market positioning
- Lead go-to-market initiatives, campaigns, and digital engagement to increase product adoption, awareness, and client engagement
- Translate complex technical solutions into clear, client-focused messaging for diverse public and private sector audiences
- Enable sales by creating product messaging, tools, and materials that strengthen the sales process and product knowledge
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver aligned communications, branding, thought leadership, and promotional activities
- Plan and support product launches, events, and industry engagements to enhance visibility and client relationships
- Support RFPs, RFQs, and other proposals by developing strong value propositions and client-facing content
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
- Define and track marketing KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance and optimize outcomes
- Lead team performance, resource planning, and budget management while driving continuous improvement in processes and tools
