You have:

  • Post secondary education in Business Administration/Commerce or a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience, including leadership responsibilities such as coaching/mentoring, project leadership and staff management 
  • Proven track record of Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) revenue growth through relationship-based selling and brand positioning
  • Experience working with schedule A banks and navigating the Canadian lending ecosystem as a vendor or solutions provider, including strong understanding of mortgage underwriting principles, secured lending processes and regulatory standards (e.g. OSFI guidelines)
  • Service-focused mindset with the ability to motivate and coach sales professionals toward revenue and branding goals
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze opportunities, mitigate risks, and influence outcomes
  • Proficiency with data-driven platforms and Automated Valuation Model (AVM) software
  • This role is required to travel for in-person client/internal meetings as well as industry conferences and events based on the line of business

Nice to have: 

  • Understanding real estate market trends and advanced AVM methodologies for property valuation
  • Familiarity in using mortgage origination systems (e.g., Filogix Expert or Expert Pro)
  • Experience delivering Automated Valuation Model (AVM) or data-driven solutions

 

What you will do: 

  • Manage day-to-day operations for an assigned line of business, by ensuring a focus on sales opportunities to facilitate long-term revenue stability, with accountability for annual revenue and profit contributions associated with the line of business
  • Work alongside your team to directly sell products and services specific to the line of business 
  • Oversee license agreements, advise on pricing, contract/service agreement negotiations with clients/partners to ensure the Corporation’s position is clearly defined and risks are minimized
  • Provide recommendations on the development of operational sales business plans, as aligned with corporate strategic business plan and on sales goals, KPIs, balanced scorecard measures, business results and multi-year plans
  • Provide oversight and review research related to market potential for the Corporation’s products and services, including exploration of local, provincial, and national markets, and identifying potential new business opportunities
  • Identify industry and government issues to recommend potential market opportunities to improve existing products or create new products
  • Drive the adoption of AVM and data-driven solutions for financial clients, ensuring adoption and alignment with underwriting and secured lending objectives
  • Provide mentorship to team members on leveraging AVM technologies, financial market knowledge, and client relationship management
