Job Description

You have:
- Completion of post-secondary (college or university) education in Business Administration/Commerce (or equivalent) or completion of a certificate program/accreditation in Real Property Assessment
- At least 5 years of experience in property valuation/assessment or direct business-to-business sales experience in a related industry
- Proven technical expertise, with respect to property valuation and associated data attribution, to understand and develop MPAC products and services to meet client needs
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing and sales programs in a customer focused environment
- Superior communication skills (oral, written and presentation) that are clear, concise and convincing and highly nuanced for the particular customers, partners or internal clients
- Strong business acumen to see the broader business issues and effectively identify business solutions and opportunities throughout various verticals (Financial, Real Estate, Custom)
- Self-motivated, disciplined and focused to work independently as well as within a team, coupled with excellent time management skills to manage competing priorities
- Relationship savviness and negotiation skills to read, connect with, influence and persuade all levels of management, clients, and partners
- Ability to travel within Ontario
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act
What you will do:
- Research and establish new client bases, business opportunities and products and services, understanding needs and requirements, and implementing appropriate marketing and sales initiatives
- Maintain existing relationships with key clients
- Directly sell products and services in the Financial Services, Real Estate, and/or Custom market and develop new business opportunities within these verticals
- Participate in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients, partners, and distributors
- Analyze, compile and report to management on local, regional, and national market intelligence and feedback
- Create license agreements collaborating with MPAC’s internal and external legal counsel to meet client expectations and mitigate risk to MPAC
- Travel within Ontario (moderate to extensive) to attend meetings with current and potential clients
