Job Description

You have:
- At least 5 years of experience in business planning and project management, including management of corporate-wide change management initiatives
- Completion of post-secondary education in public administration, business administration, organizational design or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Certified Change Management Practitioner (CCMP), Prosci, PMP or equivalent certification
- Excellent facilitation skills with sound knowledge of facilitation techniques and PMO/CMO methodologies and best practices
- Understanding of strategic planning, financial modeling, corporate valuations, performance measurement, risk management and business case development
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative research, analysis and issues-based problem solving
- Strong organization and communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive issues
- Proven leadership skills to build, lead and manage a team of professionals, influence stakeholders and provide strategic advice
- Effective interpersonal skills with peer and executive audiences
- Advanced level of skill in using Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint, and the ability to develop standardized reporting routines
Nice to have:
- Understanding of learning methods, training needs assessment and training design is an asset
What you will do:
- Provide strategic planning and facilitation to evaluate organizational business needs, strategic directions, and identify opportunities through facilitated events (with the Executive Management Group, Senior Management, front-line staff) to maximize operational efficiencies in all areas of the corporation
- Provide program analysis and implementation leadership related to corporate strategies and change management initiatives
- Write and review business cases/submissions from departments where proposals require funding beyond the scope of existing operational budgets, or that may impact on current resources, require organizational realignment or that impact on the corporate direction/long term strategic plans
- Lead cross-departmental teams to analyze, plan, and/or implement corporate level programs/projects utilizing technology-based solutions in support of the broader corporate strategy and business objectives
- Provide recommendations on functionality and applicability of solutions and validation of assumptions, cost savings, etc. to meet business requirements
- Lead and mentor your team while fostering a creative, collaborative and empowered environment and promoting a customer-oriented service delivery approach
- Assign work, directly or through a team of supervisors/ leads; monitor outcomes for accuracy, timeliness and quality
